Для граждан Кении:

1. Оригинал документа и копия (копия остается в Посольстве). Если требуется заверение копии оригинального документа, заявитель должен предоставить две копии и оригинал документа.

2. Документы об образовании (аттестаты, дипломы, сертификаты KCSE и т.п.) заверяются в Посольстве бесплатно.

3. Стоимость легализации любых других документов 20 долларов США. Пожалуйста, подготовьте необходимую сумму в указанной валюте без сдачи.
Просим обратить внимание, что Посольство заверяет или легализует только документы, заверенные в Министерстве Иностранных Дел и Торговли Республики Кения.

Иностранным гражданам:

1. Оригинал документа, должным образом легализованный Министерством Иностранных Дел страны заявителя. На документе должно быть доазатеьство легализации (печать и подпись).

2. Сбор 20 долларов США оплачивается наличными. Просим подготовить точную сумму в указанной валюте.

Visa Requirements

Visa Fees

Transit Visa — US$20, for 3 days (72 hrs)

Referred Visa application fee (Note that referred Visa should be applied for at least 1 month prior to proposed journey) — US$10 (document processing fee) + fees for Single Visa (after approval of application)

Standard fee for an Ordinary/Single Journey Entry Visa — US$50

standard fee for the East Africa Tourist Visa is USD 100

Standard fee for Multiple Journey Entry - Have to be referred — US$110
US$10 (document processing fee) + fees for Multiple Visa US$100 (after approval of application)

Diplomatic/Official/Service Visa  is issued gratis for official visits only — Free

 Emergency Travel Document — free of charge
Passports for Visa application are accepted Monday to Friday (every day) except during public holidays from 9.30 a.m to 12.30 p.m and from 2.00 p.m. to 3.30 p.m.

Period required for issuance of visas — 1 working day.

Consular fees are paid in cash in US dollars only at the Embassy. Please note that consular fees are accepted without change.

Passport Requirements

With effect from 1st September, 2012 the following are the new Consular fees:
Passport 32 pages: USD 50
Replacement of lost passport: USD 120
Mutilated passport: USD 100

Visa Requirements:

Documents required for visa application:
  •  1 copy of valid passport (Not less than six months) with at least one blank page.
  • 1 copy of visa application form duly completed with 2 recent passport size photograph attached. (download visa-application-form.pdf [92.13 Kb]
  •  1 copy of invitation letter per applicant to visit Kenya and sufficient funds for use while in Kenya.
  • For tourists — 2 copies of invitation letter from the organizing tour company in Kenya on its official letter-head (original or fax copy) together with tour programme.
  •  Local tourist company/organization is to submit in English language on its official letter-head, a Power of Attorney with the name of the representative to deliver the passports for visa application. Photocopies of representative's passport pages containing his/her photograph and other particulars are also required.
  •  A return Air-ticket or onward ticket to another destination may also be required.
    6. For Transit Visa, the applicant should be in possession of a valid visa to the country of destination.

Nationals of the following countries do not require visas to enter Kenya:
Barbados, Belize, Botswana, Brunei Darusssalam, Burundi, Cyprus, dominica, Fiji Island, Ghana, Grenada, Jamaica, Kiribati, Lesotho, Malawi, Malaysia (up to 30 days stay), Maldives, Mauritius, Namibia, Nauru, Papua New Guinea, Rwanda, Samoa, Sierra Leone, Singapore, Solomon Islands, South Africa (up to 30 days stay), St. Kitts and Navis, St. Lucia, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, Swaziland, Seychelles, Tanzania, The Bahamas, The Gambia, Tonga, Trinidad and Tobago, Tuvalu, Uganda, Vanuata, Zambia and Zimbabwe.

Nationals of countries, classes and categories of persons who require referred visas:
Afghanistan, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Cameroon, Democratic Peoples Republic of Korea (formely N. Korea), Eritrea, Libya, Iraq, Jordan,Kosovo, non-citizens of Latvia, Lebanon, Mali, Palestine, Senegal, Somalia, Syria, Tajikstan.

Requirements for obtaining a referred visa:
  • 1 duly filled application form
  • Passport and 1 passport copy
  • 1 passport size photo
  • 1 copy of self-introduction letter explaining the reason of going to Kenya
  • 1 copy of invitation letter
  • For tourists — 3 copies of booking confirmation
  • Visa fees: US$10 for document processing the visa application plus fees for Single (US$50) / Multiple Visa (US$100) - after approval of application.

The period of issuance of a referred visa is 1 month.

Visa applications by Diplomats and Government officials on Private visit to Kenya and who are nationals of countries which require referred visas will be referred.

Nationals of the following countries who are holders of Diplomatic and official Civil Servants with "Ordre de Mission" can be issued with Visas on application:
• Cameroon
• Senegal
